Just Football is Bringing the Digital Game to the Football Pitch
Bullpen Media had a chat with Just Football’s CEO Kasper Ljungstrøm Skov on Just Football’s gamification elements, the merge of real and virtual gaming, their market focus, plans going forwards and much more:
“Armed with the mantra of getting youngsters and young adults to get outside and play instead of staying indoors and playing video games, Just Football is a mobile app that brings together the physical and digital worlds.
The Swedish company combines real-life and mobile gaming through their app which allows players to compete in fun, on-pitch football challenges whilst bringing in big digital, gaming and social ingredients.”

@Mikko Simon / Hi all, Mikko Simon here. Born in the U.S., raised in Finland (puhun täydellisesti Suomea), 20+ years in the Sports business (Big Ten Conference, NFL, Amer Sports, POINT 3 Basketball, and many consulting engagements), now living in Malmö, Sweden (jag pratar ganska flytande “Mumin svensk” som man säger här). Looking forward to meeting new people and finding ways to contribute both virtually and in person in the Malmö-Copenhagen region!
@Álvaro / My name is Álvaro Coll Martínez and I come from Barcelona, Spain. I have been living in Denmark (Copenhagen) for two and a half years (2 years studying my double master degree at Sustainable Energies at DTU and half a year both looking for a job and being an intern at Second Sun). I have experience in the project management sector and the knowledge gathered at my master’s degrees gave me the necessary tools to kick off my career stronger than ever! I am also really into sports (I play Rugby) and I am super curious about possible opportunities to introduce renewable energy technologies into the sports’ field.
@Johanna Bergman / My background is sports medicine and worked for several years with a pro womens’ football team in Malmoe, Sweden. Left this position 4 years ago to focus on youth sport and how sport and the Swedish school system can better cooperate for a healthier and more creative environment for youth players.
Working with an action research approach with a multidisciplinary team at a school (age 15–18) in south Sweden now. Together with Tech developers we are trying to develop a new tool to enhance learning, inspire creativity, goal setting and collect data to make better decisions regarding load and training.
